如果告诉你，有一个村庄的屋顶是用芦苇编织铺就，村里面连汽车都不能走......如果你以为这里一定是一处穷乡僻壤，那就错了！其实这里是号称"北方威尼斯"，位于荷兰西北部上瑟尔省(Overijssel)的羊角村（Giethoorn)。
羊角村的民房用茅草覆盖屋顶（其实茅草比砖更耐用，成本更高），并沿着运河而建，一字排开。这里禁止汽车通行，只能使用步行、自行车和乘船出行，而撑篙小船是最主要交通工具。
这里的河流湖泊都是历时几个世纪由人工挖掘而成，但绝非是为了制造出风花雪月的意境和世外桃源的美景而建，运河是用来运输煤炭，湖泊更只是挖煤所致而已...
且不管这里水系形成的初衷为何，至少如今羊角树已经成为了一处令人神往、平静祥和、四处开满红花绿叶的美丽水乡了...
